Supplier of heat recovery steam generators

NEM Energy B.V. is a supplier of heat recovery steam generators
With more than 95 years of experience, NEM Energy B.V. (formerly the Heat Transfer Technology business of Siemens Energy) offers a product portfolio focused on heat recovery steam generators (HRSG) for power plants ranging from industrial size to very large boilers behind the most powerful gas turbines. By adding an HRSG to a gas-fired power plant, the high temperature exhaust of the gas turbine is further utilized and transformed into higher energy power output which leads to an increase of overall efficiency and reduction of pollutant emissions. Besides, the portfolio of NEM Energy B.V. includes pre-assembled WHRU (Waste Heat Recovery Units), which are standardized and adaptable to any gas turbine in the range of 10 to 70 MW, as well as exhaust gas and diverter systems focusing on simple and combined cycle power plant applications. The company is a leading brand in the industry and provides HRSGs, exhaust gas and diverter systems in the Middle East, Europe, South East Asia and South Americas. After being acquired by Siemens Energy in 2011, the company is now divested from Siemens Energy and will operate independently, aiming for future growth with the support and leadership of Mutares.
Strategy
NEM Energy B.V. is one of the top 3 Global suppliers by total number of units for both large HRSG and small applications. The future strategy is to become the leader in large HRSG’s and Bypass Systems by building on a strong partnership with Siemens Energy. Additionally, significant sales growth is expected from further developing the service (i.e., maintenance and inspection) of the fleet, together with the support and a closed cooperation with the Balcke-Dürr Group. Synergy effects are expected from commercial opportunities and project execution and will be further strengthened by a gradual consolidation with processes of the Balcke-Dürr Group. Efficient projects handling is ensured with an independent (IT) environment.
